Job Profile:

Product Director will be responsible for managing product lines, development of new products, managing existing products, contributing to sales and marketing of products, and providing technology strategy support to other departments.

Ideal Profile:

- Lead strategy/roadmap, product management/development, client engagement, program management, solution delivery, architecture & change management across cross functional teams.

- Responsible for ROI & scalability driven product visionary with a global innovation & strategy mindset

- Focusing on Cloud & SaaS based technologies

- Someone who is a Product Management & Development Specialist and an expert at building scalable high-volume SaaS/Cloud, enterprise applications & Big Data solutions/Analytics

- Integration strategy involving API development, SSO, Big-Data, Data Mining, Warehousing, Analytics, Service Bus, interacting with large data stores including CRM/CTMS, Business Stores, Enterprise systems, etc.

- Global Experience, hiring & managing teams across US, Asia & Europe.

- Leading and optimizing agile teams including Directors, Managers, Architects, Developers, BAs, PMs & Implementation Leads.

Responsibilities:

- Serving as Lead Product/Platform Visionary and Chief Architect.

- Leading the rapid growth with addition of multiple new products on the unified platform. SLA and Pricing modeling. - New technology adoption (MVC, SP13, JQuery, angular, node, CSOM, MongoDB, Service Bus, Mobile Apps)

- Implementation of high-availability SaaS Architecture and Data center.

- Process Improvement initiatives-refined SDLC/Agile practices, TFS, standardized Templates, JIRA ticketing.

- Delivery, Quality and Portfolio management across client projects. Escalation handling and prioritization.

- Product Management (Competitive Analysis/Grooming/Prioritization/Roadmap) across products/platform.

- Leading the Architecture & SaaS/Cloud first strategy. Technology selection, build v/s buy & keep v/s discard decisions.

- Hiring & setup of development team (managers, architects and product managers) and standards.

- Moving the organization from services/projects to platform/interconnected products mindset

- Implement and lead a unified product roadmap by managing internal and external resources across countries and functions, in coordination with sales and marketing.

- Manage the entire product lifecycle for each product, from consumer insights through to launch and post-launch product improvements

Requirements:

- Bachelors / Masters in Engineering from a reputed university.

- 12-15 years of experience

- Solid experience in heading a creative product development team, and an environment that encourages new ideas and innovation

- Experience in leading dynamic brainstorming sessions

- Highly entrepreneurial self-starter.

- Demonstrated experience managing the full product development lifecycle, including product conceptualization, patent assessment, product line development, costing, prototyping, PRD development

- Ability to travel internationally to meet customers, technology partners, etc.

- Strong blend of analytical, decision-making and creative problem solving skills
