Director - Procurement - Telecom

Position of Head Procurement on offer with a leading telecom company for Mumbai location.

Candidate will be responsible to design Procurement Strategy for the Telecom active elements Category, Provide subject matter expertise to the projects and operations team in managing the supply chain and procurement related systems and interfaces, organizing, coordinating and directing one or a combination of major programs and activities of the purchasing function including the supervision and staff development.

Candidate will be engaged in process improvement and performance improvement to drive execution of the procurement strategies and processes. Also will be enhancing automation for the Sourcing and P2P processes.

Looking for Candidates with minimum 14+ years of working experience with expertise in managing active IT and active telecom network elements procurement. Candidate must have experience with implementation of ERP, eProcurement, and supplier information software such as SAP, Ariba,Emptoris, Zycus etc, along with proven track record of project management and planning skills.
