About our Client - Our client is a leading FMCG company that has a wide range of world class & innovative products. They are widely regarded as an employer of choice, and have established a significant presence in the India market. They are looking at embarking on an ambitious growth trajectory, and hence are looking to recruit a Director Procurement, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Job Description: Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for:

- Defining and implementing the overall strategy of procurement across all products.

- Managing relationships with key vendors and suppliers across the globe.

- Continuously benchmark & drive improvement projects to deliver competitive advantage (across product and price).

- Leading innovation and new product material development.

- Liaising with different functions in the supply chain practice to achieve operational efficient.

- Leading and managing a team of 5-6 people and be responsible for their learning and development.

The Successful Candidate:

- You will be a post graduate with around 15 years of experience in Procurement functions, ideally in the FMCG Industry. Further, you should have had the experience of managing large procurement spends and key vendor relationships.

- The client is looking for someone with excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead and manage a large team.
