Director - Operations

We are Hiring a Director Operations - (Plant Operations) for one of the MNC Client in Gujarat.

Location: Jamnagar - Gujarat

Applicant having experience in Manufacturing Setup along with managing Operations & P&L, EBITDA of entire plant, knowledge in manufacturing process such Die Casting & Electroplating are considered only.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Our client is looking for an Director Operations for its manufacturing facility at Jamnagar, Gujarat. The purpose of this role is to lead the factory operations encompassing Production, Quality, Supply Chain and driving Operational excellence program

- Prepare production budget and ensure optimum utilization of resources to deliver financial objectives

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Prepare production budget and ensure optimum utilization of resources to deliver financial objectives

- Drive Operational Excellence - Lean production, Labour productivity, process efficiency

- Drive Quality organization to deliver defect free products to customers and reduce cost of poor quality

- Ensure smooth supply chain to meet production targets meeting targets on inventory

- Ensure maintenance and upkeep of plant and machinery

- Develop and provide motivational leadership in building high performance team & create future leader pipeline

Education Qualification & Experience required:

- Engineering Graduate & Post Graduate in Operations is must

- Over 15 years previous total experience, with 5-7 years' experience in managing Operations in a reputed organization

- Ability to work in Gujarat with local language and credentials will be added advantage

- Age should not be more than 47 Years

Skills Required:

- Knowledge of Operational Excellence Tools

- Hands on experience on VSM, VMI, Lean production practices, TQM etc

- Ability to drive and motivate large team

- Possesses a high level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities

- Ability to work to deadlines, and flexible to ensure completion of tasks

- Organized and methodical, with an ability to focus on the detail of issues
