Director - Operations/Supply Chain Research

The Director of Operations Research is responsible for the development and maintenance of operations research models for the Supply Chain function of the company.

- Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists the business with decision making, through solutions that save time, cost, or improve processes.

- Defines requirement and validates information by applying judgment and statistical tests. 

- Design, conduct and evaluate experimental operation models in cases where models cannot be developed from existing data.

- Use strong quantitative and analytical abilities to integrate and analyze data.It involves mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists Supply Chain Leadership and management with decision making, policy formulation, or other functions. Some of the examples outputs could be network design for long term, last mile route design etc.

Skills and Expertise

- Masters Degree or PhD in Operations Research, Finance Supply Chain Operations, or related discipline.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain and OR Models

- Experience using ILOG CPLEX or other mathematical programming technology.

- Experience with meta heuristics used for Supply Chain problems

- Business case development
