About the Company: EkSMS.com is an offline-to-online commerce platform that utilizes the internet and mobile channels to drive traffic to offline stores (e.g., restaurants, retailers, etc.). It does so by providing users personalized recommendations for where to dine, drink and shop, in addition to targeted deals for those places.

EkSMS is funded by The India Internet Group, an early stage venture capital fund focused on internet/mobile startups in India, based in New York and Mumbai, India. EkSMS has been featured in TechCrunch, Outlook Business, Hindustan Times, VCCircle, Harvard Business Review, YourStory.in and Brown Paper Bag in recent months.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all operational activities related to our merchant and corporate partners

- Design, implement and constantly improve processes to track redemptions of transaction codes at merchants, payments and other operational activities

- Design and circulate analytics reports to merchant and corporate partners

- Maintain close relationships with existing merchants by providing the best possible service via phone, email, or in-person meetings

- Conduct feedback calls with users to track redemptions and also get feedback on their experiences

- Continually develop new ways to make the operational processes more efficient.

Skills:

- Proven success in an operational role and a clearly demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of sales people to successfully achieve sales targets.

- Ability and experience developing operational targets, monitoring their achievement and developing written reports for executive management.

- Knowledge of and experience of operations dealing with SMBs is desirable.

- Proven knowledge of customer relationship management including assessing customer needs, meeting customer expectations and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

- Ability to determine priorities, successfully manage simultaneous projects with competing timelines.

- Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly changing environment, and a strong desire to learn.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication

Qualification and Experience: -

- Graduates from any field of study with stellar organizational and operational skills are encouraged to apply

- Prior start-up experience dealing with operations is a big plus – 1-2 years experience with startup companies preferred
