Job Description : As the Operations Head, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing all operational and compliance functions. Description :

- Lead and manage the operations and compliance teams, providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to achieve operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

- Develop and implement effective operational policies, procedures, and controls that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee day-to-day operations, including trade settlement, client onboarding, account maintenance, and customer support, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and seamless execution.

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including trading, risk management, technology, and finance teams, to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the capital market industry, and proactively manage any changes in regulations to ensure timely adaptation.

- Continuously monitor operational and compliance risks, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate these risks effectively.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, auditors, and other external stakeholders to facilitate open communication and timely resolution of compliance-related matters.

Profile:

- 5-25 years of progressive experience in operations and compliance roles within the capital market sector, including significant leadership experience.

- In-depth knowledge of stock broking operations, trade settlement processes, and regulatory requirements in the Indian capital market landscape.

- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing operations and compliance functions, with a strong emphasis on process optimization and risk management.

- Excellent understanding of SEBI regulations, stock exchange guidelines, and other relevant regulations governing the capital market industry.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders.

- Proficiency in using relevant software tools and platforms for operations management
