Director-Ops Excellence with an IT Services Organization


We are hiring for an IT Services Company for the role of a Director - Operational Excellence. The Job Description is as below.

GEO Transformation Leader

1. Manage Stakeholders (internal & client), Identify and lead change, provide active leadership to a large team of change agents (direct reporting of 15-20 Black Belts.)

2. Lead transformation programs/Continual Improvements across the Portfolio/Organization.

3. Conduct Independent Customer connects (senior leaders) to proactively understand client's expectations & challenges.

4. Lead & Co-create Process/Service Transformation Roadmap and provide strategic direction to Transformation program.

5. Jointly develop strategy and lead projects/programs aimed at Margin improvement for various accounts within GEO.

6. Lead and moderate ideation workshops (Design Thinking skills desired) and support programs with out of the box thinking and opportunity exploration.

7. Collaborate with project sponsor, cross-functional teams (automation, Ops & other functions), to plan improvement initiatives/transformation. Develop & monitor scope, work plan, schedules, deliverables and critical success parameters, etc. at GEO level.

8. Mentor Change agents driving Continuous Improvement/ Transformation projects leveraging LSS, RPA, ML or any other emerging technique/technologies that results in Efficiency gain and/or Customer Experience Enhancement.

9. Partner with Automation team, assessing service lines/processes in conceptualizing, designing new offerings for the customer or for internal Organization's usage.

10. Actively identify potential risks & issues relating to the delivery of Transformation projects and manage contingency & mitigation plans in a timely manner.

11. Spread LSS & Transformation culture by leading training & Mentoring initiatives.

12. Strategize and execute internal/external benchmarking and competitor analysis

13. Guide team in Identifying Analytics opportunities and in execution.

14. Mange escalation from internal & external stakeholders with proper RCA & effective communication.

Applied knowledge (/Certification) on:

a. Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, AGILE).

b. DevOps & ITIL V4

c. LSS Black Belt Certified from a reputed institute. ( & have played MBB role for at least 2 yrs.).

d. Design Thinking (Desired).

e. Multiple Automation project execution, project/program management experience. (RPA, ML/AI skills)

f. ITSM, CYBER Security, IIoT experience desired.

g. Outstanding networking skills & knows how to bring together diverse groups of thinkers, as well as strong leadership skills to advise business units and manage conflicts.

h. Ability to interact with Senior Stakeholders.

i. Should have led Consulting assignments & Transition Analysis.
