Director Operations - Chemical Industry (20-30 yrs)

- Responsible for plant operations including manufacturing, HR, Maintenance, Finance, EHS, administration, and planning.

- Responsible for continuous quality improvement and system development.

- Should be good at Production planning, Materials Management and Productivity improvement.

- Develop annual Factory plan and ensure delivery of production volumes at desired levels of cost efficiencies &, product mix.

- Good experience in maintaining Industrial Relations and Human Resource Development.

- Should have knowledge of Factories Act, Laboure Law, Excise, Service Tax, GST, and statutory compliances will be preferred.

- Provide leadership for the successful operation of the manufacturing plant including production, quality control, maintenance, etc.

- To lead the factory team techno commercially, operationally & evaluate the work process efficiencies related with Inter unit co-ordinations, Productions, QC, Dispatch, Logistic, Storage, Safety, QMS etc.

- Managing Labour contractors, security contractors, Payroll Workmen & Other Manpower.

- Coordinate, Implement & Monitor Factory Capex plans (at Existing & New location also).

- Sourcing & coordinating for Vendor development & Other agencies, Liaisoning with Govt. department etc.

- Design, review & implement in consultation with management policies related with Manpower, factory Security staff, Workmen.

- Ability to ensure goals are achieved.

- Strong leadership, team building and advance coaching skills.

- Ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.

- Ability to co-ordinate and communicate effectively across all levels and departments.

- Any other works related with smooth functioning of factory.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE or BSc Chemical with 15-20+ Years of Experience & should have worked in the capacity of Plant Head in a Chemical Industry.

2. Should have worked in capacity of Plant Head.

3. Should have techno commercial knowledge.

4. Leadership Qualities and ability to get work done.

5. Should be good at planning, execution, and people management.

6. Knowledge of Statutory Legal compliance.

7. Good experience in maintaining Industrial Relations.

8. Previous experience in an ISO, OHSAS certified unit will be an added advantage.

9. Excellent Written & verbal communication skills.

10. Fluent in MS Office - Excel, Word & PPT.

11. Team Leader, Commercial Acumen, Hard working, Analytical & Good grasping power.
