Director - Mobile Engineering - IT

- Own the development of Mobile Apps on both Android and iOS

- Lead and mentor a team of passionate iOS and Android engineers in delivering features to our customers

- Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across the organization

- Build a diverse team while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment Implement effective engineering processes and policies

- Drive product roadmap and initiatives as well as technical design

- Align with the engineering management team on firm-wide priorities

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Must Have BE/B.Tech/Masters in Computer Science or similar 8 to 10 years experience in a relevant role with 3+ years leading high performance mobile engineering teams

- Experience setting up, leading and maturing teams in a startup environment

- Experience shipping high usage mobile applications, ideally currently available in an app store

- Deep knowledge of one of the two major development platforms (iOS and Android)

- Understanding of UX best practices and a desire to achieve excellent usability

- Comfortable working with both local and globally distributed team members and engineers Strong understanding of Industry best practices and trends as related to Mobile Engineering

- Nice to Have Expertise in both major development platforms (iOS and Android)

- Experience working with remote developers
