Responsibilities - Ability to identify critical success factors, blockages to success and to devise successful strategies to overcome these and achieve goals - Standards Adoption- Mentions of / reference to our standards in visible and impactful publications (like RFPs, standards, guides, etc.) Market adoption of standards through certification growth - Member Recruitment & Retention- New member recruitment, Current member retention, Membership status growth (i.e., additional forums and upgrades) - Member Engagement- Conduct of conferences, events, workshops and briefings, Member and non-member attendance, and satisfaction etc - Outreach & Advocacy- Opportunity generation for advocacy sessions, events, publications and participation in committees, Strategic alliances, and collaborations - Administration & Operations- Smooth office operations, Vendor interactions for enabling other activities, Up-to-date member information, and data - Event partners (sponsors and sponsorship) Work closely with Manager (Member Relations & Marketing Programs) for activities pertaining to member engagement, experience and feedback, and marketing (including digital marketing) - Interact with Forum Directors, in selected priority areas, to support forum specific interactions and outreach - Work with The Open Group Marketing and Events Team as and when needed - Comfortable with domestic and international travel Skills & Qualifications : - Degree qualification in Business/Information Systems - Very good command of English, both written and spoken, and one major Indian Language - Master's Degree in Business/Management/Information Systems would be beneficial - Membership of professional body (e.g., IEEE, PMI, CSI) is preferred - Fluency in Hindi is preferred Experience: - About 15 years of relevant work experience - Deep corporate experience within strategy and IT functions - Proven customer relationship management (very experienced) - Experience leading proposals and/or customer presentations (very experienced) - Experience of dealing with senior management in government and public sector domain (good connections and links) - Connections with the media (print, electronic and social) would be advantageous Key Specialist Areas : - Account management - Good knowledge of the IT and IT services market in India - Verbal communication and writing skills in English, including effective presentation delivery - Comfortable in technology disciplines - Familiarity with standards organizations and the IT recruitment market - Good programme and project management skills
