Position Director - Marketing

Location Bangalore, India

Reporting to MD, Fluke India

JOB OVERVIEW

Manages inbound and outbound marketing functions for Fluke Industrial and Fluke Calibration brands. Primary responsibilities include strategy development, competitive assessment, product roadmaps, master pricing, promotion, demand generation, and increasing awareness and preference.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

1. Develops long-term strategic objectives and strategies; translates vision into realistic business strategies

2. Development of the Fluke Industrial and Fluke Calibration marketing plans

3. Overseeing the implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, management of new and existing product lines and PR

4. Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization

5. Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition

6. Participates in defining customer requirements to meet needs

7. Maintains customer segmentation across multiple industry verticals including applications, pain points, and growth drivers

8. Change Funnel growth and management to: Owns the process for funnel management across all commercial functions. Owns strategy to drive funnel growth and yield improvements to drive revenue.

9. Leads Inside Sales/Technical Customer Support that enables lead conversion and customer satisfaction.

10. Leadership: responsible for mentoring and development of the marketing team and cross-functional mentorship of sales.

11. Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends

12. Working closely with the company's Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations

13. Sound judgment - makes timely decisions; readily understands complex issues; develops solutions that effectively address problems

14. Credibility - acts in accordance with stated values; follows through on promises; uses ethical considerations to guide decisions and actions

15. Lead change - supports activities that position the business for the future; offers novel ideas and perspectives

16. Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team

17. Translates function/KPI goals into actions for direct reports

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

1. MBA with 15 to 20 years of management experience.

2. Marketing knowledge and channel management experience are highly desired.

3. Confident, entrepreneurial, results oriented, able to work under pressure and be self-motivated.

4. Ability to think outside the box-.

5. A team player with excellent problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills

7. The computer is competent in terms of analytical & presentation skills.
