The client is one of the leading mobile handsets manufacturers and retailers in India, with a presence in South Asia as well. They have a range of offerings in handsets and accessories across all price ranges, and are currently investing heavily in the Indian market. They also have a factory set up in India.
Description :
The Marketing Director would report in to the Global Director and be responsible for:
- Develop strategies and build up an execution plan for enhanced Consumer Marketing
- Manage the Consumer Marketing budget and deliver profitable programs
- Provide strategic guidance towards market research efforts to understand customers' perception and behavior and formulate effective marketing strategies
- Planning the implementation and execution of communication across 360- (ABC marketing channels, partner channels, ATL/ BTL, PR etc.)
- Identifying and Understanding competition and competitors
Profile :
The ideal candidate would have :
1. An MBA from a Tier 1/2 institution
2. About 12-15 years of experience in leading marketing for large consumer brands
3. Experience in the following industries - mobile handsets, automobiles, consumer durables and/or FMCG
4. Experience with leading large teams
