Director - Marketing - Agri Tech Startup

Position: Director Marketing

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Supervise the marketing team and leads all the marketing activities including branding, communication, strategy formulation and execution, lead generation etc.

- Strategic Planning: Formulating and ensuring quality execution of marketing strategies for market identification, and penetration, thereby improving the market share of the product.

- Plan, produce, and execute successful corporate events, working with advertisers, and production managers, to market product and services.

- Prepare an annual marketing strategy and budget, and continuously monitor and report regularly on its status.

- Lead the Group's media and brand building efforts and key trade relationships as well as support and grow individual lines of business in line with existing and emerging opportunities.

Experience: 8-12 years

Location: Pune

Industry Preference: Retail, FMCD, FMCG, Farm products, Rural Marketing

Company profile: A two year old Pune based Agri Tech startup backed by prominant VC's. It operates in the USD 45 Billion India agri Input market and has built a first of it's kind Direct to Farmer mobile commerce platform where farmers can buy their entire requirement of seeds, crop protection, crop nutrition and agri hardware products by directly calling company's toll free number.

In a short span of time, the business has grown very rapidly and has tied up with most major agri chemical companies as channel partners on it's platform. Client currently operates in the state of Gujarat. The company has received over 2.5 L calls from Gujarat alone and is now working on scaling up operations in the states of Maharashtra, MP & Rajasthan.
