Director - Market Risk IT - BFSI

Market Risk IT (MR IT) is part of Risk & Finance IT, and supports the Market & Liquidity Risk Management group within the Risk Division, responsible for Market Risk Management, Scenario Analysis, Risk Consolidation, Risk Capital, Risk Based P&L and the quants responsible for risk measurement models and pricing model validation.

As part of the global Market Risk IT management team, be responsible for establishing & heading the new Mumbai team for MR IT

As a member of Risk & Finance IT Market Risk global leadership team, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting environment, and learn multiple aspects of investment banking in an international team

Be the senior client partner for the APAC region, representing MRIT project delivery as well as stability/service delivery of MR IT systems to senior (MD/DIR) clients.

Be accountable & take functional ownership of deliveries by the India multi-location team.

Be responsible for working with the global MR IT leads (N5s) to ensure we deliver on regulatory commitments, drive operational improvements and maintain a sustainable platform.

Contribute to IT strategic initiatives across RFIT and beyond, both within India and more globally.

You Offer

Minimum 15+ years of experience in the Investment Banking and/or Market Risk domains

Proven experience in building and driving effective application development teams

Proven track record of managing large teams across locations and functional expertise

Strong management experience in managing development & vendor teams

Previous experience in a significant change programs in an investment bank

Proven ability to develop effective relationships with senior Technology and Investment Banking and/or Market Risk stakeholders

Clear ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in written / presentation form

Good knowledge of IT system concepts, products, practices relevant to a large investment/corporate banks

Good knowledge of investment banking front office business

Knowledge of the regulatory environment relevant for large complex financial institutions

Strong written and oral communication skills
