Director - Market Risk Change - Investment Bank

About the Client:

As a leading investment bank, our client provides products and services to institutional and private clients. Now, with the continued expansion of their India-based Global Hub, they are keen to recruit a senior market risk change professional with experience in project management and business analysis working on large projects in a global environment.

Role Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to define, develop and oversee their market risk change function across regulatory and risk infrastructure projects. It's a chance to be a business leader, building and managing a sizable team, ultimately nurturing a culture and environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement and best practice.

You will report directly to the Global Head of Market Risk Change and work closely with regional and global stakeholders to maintain the high standards this revered organization is renowned for. This will include managing the market risk data aggregation and reporting projects, building integrated reporting roadmap and managing market risk reporting budget for business to drive cost efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

It's a challenge that calls for a professional who will thrive in this diverse and dynamic environment - a professional with around 15 to 20 years experience within the Investment Banking domain with significant exposure to market or counter party credit risk. In depth understanding of risk infrastructure and risk regulations like BCBS239 etc. is critical. In addition to a relevant degree (MBA/MS), you must have exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the proven ability to drive large teams managing senior stakeholders.
