Our client is a top tier global financial institution with a strong track record of being a preferred employer. In this newly created role they are seeking to hire a leader experienced in financial control and statutory reporting to help grow and develop the existing team. This will require a well-rounded and experienced individual capable of working closely with senior individuals across the organisation. It is an excellent opportunity to get an overview of a global financial institution which has demonstrated its willingness to provide career opportunities to individuals across their finance function. Some of the key responsibilities will include -
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards
- Responsibility for all associated Financial & Regulatory Reporting and Disclosures.
- Ensuring compliance with firms control & Governance framework and maintains highest level of controls for the function.
- The management of key internal and external relationships attached to the function.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- A relevant accounting qualification
- A minimum of 15 years exp of experience in a global organisation, preferably financial or audit services
- Strong communication skills and leadership and team management experience
- The experience in managing global level stakeholders.
