Job Title: Chief Learning & Development Officer

Location: Mumbai or Gurgaon

About Company: One of the leading Retail Client having multiple luxury brands under it.

Job Description:

As the Chief Learning & Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the learning and development strategy for the Client. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning, talent development, and leadership excellence to support the organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learning Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organizational goals and objectives.

- Identify and integrate best practices in learning methodologies, technology, and industry trends to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.

2. Leadership Development:

- Design and implement leadership development programs to build and strengthen the leadership pipeline within the organization.

- Provide coaching and mentoring to senior leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities.

3. Employee Training Programs:

- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and career development aspirations.

- Collaborate with department heads to identify specific skill gaps and design targeted training initiatives.

4. Performance Management:

- Work closely with HR to develop and implement performance management systems, including setting performance metrics, providing feedback, and designing improvement plans.

- Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs and adjust strategies as needed.

5. Talent Management:

- Collaborate with HR to identify high-potential employees and design talent development plans to nurture their growth within the organization.

- Implement succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline.

6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align learning and development initiatives with organizational goals.

- Engage with external training providers, industry experts, and educational institutions to enhance the organization's learning ecosystem.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a leadership role in Learning & Development, preferably in the retail industry.

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and talent management.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective learning solutions.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team and influence key stakeholders.
