Director - IT Software Testing

Summary:

- The role of the IT Testing & Quality Assurance (QA) Director will be responsible for building and overseeing the Testing and software Quality Assurance competency

Skills:

- Proficient in industry standard software test methodologies, processes, and best practices.

- Proficient in SDLC methodologies such as waterfall, iterative and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Proficient in Project Management framework such as Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), ASAP, etc.

- Possesses advanced knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve complex IT issues.

Knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques for multiple functional areas within IT

- Technical and/or functional knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft.

- Knowledge and experience with Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures with regard to IT systems integration.

- Certified Software Test/QA Professional through CSTP, CSQE, ISTQB, etc

Responsibilities:

- Provide strong leadership in the area of software testing, quality assurance (QA), test automation and other testing disciplines for SBD IT business solutions delivery.

- Develop and implement best in class business solutions testing strategies that involve unit testing, systems integration testing, performance/load testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Enable and drive the development and execution of automated testing tools and the usage of the same needs to be encouraged in the testing cycles to reduce cycle times in programs

- Define and implement test strategy at an end to end level within and across business segments.

- Define and implement test automation strategy that includes centralized test case repository, test automation scripts for ERP and custom applications, scripts to update QA systems with production systems data and configuration, automated configuration updates to ERP platforms and middleware, etc.
