Director - IT Applications - Salesforce Product

Infoblox is seeking an Applications Development Leader to join our IT team in Bangalore. This leader manages a team of analysts and developers responsible for our corporate applications development and analysis function. The leader will also oversee daily activities of several other locally based IT roles responsible to other IT managers outside of India. The Leader will also manage several local vendor relationships. The Applications Development Leader will report to the Sr. Director of Applications Development in Santa Clara, CA.

Infoblox IT are developing several major corporate systems to support our move to the cloud. Applications like Workday, Salesforce, Oracle Fusion and Marketo are being actively integrated into our new business processes. This leader will plan, develop, coordinate and supervise applications development efforts in Bangalore and play a key leadership role in our team's presence in Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate existing applications to determine technical changes, schedules projects, resources and monitor project timelines

- Assist IT management in the development of long and short-term initiatives including research and development projects and security issues

- Take charge of coaching staff on skills improvement and effective completion of tasks and projects

- Report on the status of current projects, identifying issues and assessing their impact, and proactively recommending solutions

- Oversee feasibility researches, estimate project timeline and cost

- Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs

- Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets

- Manage full authority for personnel actions

- Develop and provide extensive knowledge of department processes

Requirements:

- Minimum 15 years- experience in the related area as an individual contributor

- 5+ years supervisory experience may be required

- Agile and Waterfall methodology experience

- Self-starter, highly motivated and ability to handle competing priorities

- A strong can-do attitude with excellent delivery skills to back it up

- The ability to motivate, train and retain key staff

- Strong communicator to ensure tasks are well understood and resources are on task

Education:

- BA or BS in Computer Science, IT Management or related engineering field
