Director - International Business Development - Logistics Firm

Job Purpose : Manages the operational and commercial performance of multiple businesses in an assigned region to achieve required standards and service levels, whilst controlling costs and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Recommend and implement initiatives to improve business performance (standardization, new services or technologies, etc.)

2. Participate in key initiatives including country start up, commercial conversion, and service area expansion.

3. Develop, design, and oversee implementation of strategic expansion plans in non-direct served regions.

4. Develop, design, and oversee implementation of programs to introduce new products or system changes to those regions.

5. Provide support to sales and marketing in order to increase revenues and achieve targets as outlined in the business plan.

6. Develop, design, and oversee implementation of a strategy for regional trademark coverage and ensure its integrity.

7. Develop, design, and oversee implementation of strategic plans to reduce transit times to/from non-direct served regions to/from all parts of the world equal to or better than the competition, yet within budgeted guidelines.

8. Design and oversee implementation of new service offerings, ensuring standards of service measurement and maximizing financial gain for the company.

9. Work hand in hand with the - Planning and Engineering- and - Human Resources- Departments to ensure full compliance with company standards and procedures.

10. Responsible to design and improve our due diligence documents to facilitate the franchise concept for all the countries.

11. Perform other job-related tasks when requested.
