Director - Innovation - Research Firm

We have an urgent opening for Director - Innovation with leading MNC research company.

Position : Director - Innovation

Location : Gurgaon

Purpose of the role:

- This role is specifically for growing North and East Zone business and is a senior leadership role reporting to South Asia Innovation Practice head

- This region accounts for almost 40%+ of India Innovation revenues.

- While we have 2 big and stable relationships, the plan for 2018 is to take our solutions to many more clients. This client acquisition needs to be done along with protecting the current sizable and stable business

Main Accountabilities:

- Aggressively pursue, prospect and develop new business opportunities from existing and potential clients.

- Develops a competitive edge by understanding the market environment and competition as well as the innovation eco-system/process

- Drives Nielsen business results through consultative selling

- Establish self as strategic partner with clients, focused on full innovation system and fully supportive of initiatives from early stages to activation.

- Develops and maintains account plans and forecasts, including pipeline goals using Salesforce.com and other tools.

- Manage and maintain cross-functional stakeholder engagement such as Analytics, Finance, Client Business Partners

- Contributing leader in both the Innovation Leadership team and the broader Nielsen leadership team to identify opportunities to enhance/accelerate our business.

- Reviews teams recommendations and attends results presentation to ensure alignment and understanding of client objectives.
