Director - Information Technology (Only Female Candidates Please) This position is directly responsible for delivering the regional needs including supporting our manufacturing, commercial activities, dealers, and customers across the APAC region. Working closely with the regional president, and individual country leaders, you will develop technology roadmaps and delivery key projects to meet business objectives. The job requires knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and transportation systems, modern tech stack architecture, IoT, and the ability to frame technology. In this role you will: - Leads analysis of the business' future-state capabilities and future (and current) IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement to drive the business forward. - Works with the CIO and IT leaders to define our global resource model and build capabilities within our IT center(s). - Partners with local APAC HR to drive hiring needs, recruit staff, and ensure a strong employee onboarding experience. - Partner across global IT teams to develop India IT center staffing models, building out development and support flows to leverage a global resource model. - Develop IT roadmaps for the APAC region, articulating technology lifecycle needs, driving prioritization across the business, and aligning capacity to demand within and outside the region. - Presents analyses and IT investment roadmaps that reflect and would address current-state gaps and opportunities, and positions IT components and services to contribute to future-state business capabilities around ecosystems and digital platforms. - Develops and applies standards and minimal viable architectures through the EA governance model, which is informed by the business strategy and corporate governance. - Tracks and applies innovative technologies, situating them in the business and operating model to assess their potential, and use agile and lean approaches to evolve and manage innovation. - Runs technology experiments to create new products and services and integrate the best of these into steady-state operations for the organization. - Champions and trains on our delivery methods - Scaled Agile Framework, traditional waterfall delivery, and light Agile delivery. Requirements and Qualifications - Experience in building out global IT resource centers - Experience working in a matrix organization and a global environment - Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate a technology vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the business strategy - Knowledge of manufacturing business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), Streaming, Containerization, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics. - Knowledge of business engineering principles and processes. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic staffing plan that ensures the right people are in the right roles at the right time, and employees are highly engaged and satisfied - Experienced in leading cloud adoption (at scale), including establishing governance mechanisms - Strong third-party management skills, working closely with sourcing and vendor managers. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the technology workforce
