- The selected candidate will report directly to the Regional Head Asia Pacific.
- In this role, the candidate will be responsible to lead and manage the delivery of mandate in-country (including branch and legal entity level).
High-Level Activities include :
- Oversee and manage 2LOD function. Validates and challenges the 1LOD control environment.
- Provide independent risk management, advisory and escalation.
- Crisis management response and coordination
- Oversight of compliance to India regulations
India mandate and oversight includes :
- Functional Management: Business Continuity Management, Security Risk Management, Crisis Management, Vendor Risk Management, IT Risk Management, Information Security Risk Management and Protective Intelligence.
- Site-Lead Management - Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Bangalore and all India locations
- NOC Management
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent whole of in India and discharge duty-of-care to local stakeholders, country management and governance participation.
- Demonstrate leadership by building a team that is diverse, operate with integrity and accountability, is conscious of risk and cost, is well networked and adheres to high standards
- Oversee risk-type controller (RTC) delivery in-country as per 2LOD blueprint,
- Oversee compliance with in-country regulations, policies and standards and ensure teams are fully appraised of local nuances and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in Risk identification and assessments, Risk aggregation and reporting and Risk escalations to risk owners, country management and governance forums.
- Effectively manage, monitor, communicate and escalate risks in particular material risks and issues to APAC Regional Head in a timely manner.
- Oversee the design and implementations of a comprehensive exercise strategy and programs for India including security, incident/crisis management and IT DR exercise to raise the level of readiness and preparedness.
- Support management of incidents and crises as required within Crisis Management model
- Maintain MIS reporting which includes - Measure of readiness, Recover ability capability and resilience and Residual risk.

Experience :
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a resilience and risk management role or consultancy
- Sound understanding of financial sector and regulatory drivers
- Demonstrable Operational/Non-Financial Risk Management skills
- Experience in diverse range of risk management topics in a large complex institution
- Demonstrable success managing and operating in a matrix environment that encompasses functional and geographical diversity
