HR Director - APAC
Mission :
Reporting to the Human Resources Vice President (based in Europe), the HRD APAC :
- Support the Greater Asia Vice President (based in India) and China Vice President (based in China) in all HR generalist topics for his/her geographical scope of responsibility with a special focus on organization design, change management and talent acquisition & development.
- Manage, motivate and develop the APAC HR team (5 direct reports/20 people)
- Perimeter : 1500 permanent contracts in 9 countries: Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Responsibilities :As a key member of the HR global team, the HR Director APAC will :
- Assess, identify HR needs in APAC based on the business plan & priorities and will propose appropriated action plans to support the business growth
- Lead, change initiatives including organization development, acquisitions integration, restructuring functions and workforce alignment in liaison with managers in charge.
- Ensure compliance and efficiency on HR tools, practices and policies, as well as ensuring competitiveness of the compensation and benefits practices.
- Build an efficient recruitment strategy in the region to attract motivated talents to join company and anticipate the future competencies needs
- Implement and manage succession planning, career development, high potential identification, and corporate training & talent retention programs.
- Supervise the Country HR managers on the transactional activities (payroll, litigations, budget, unions/employees representative, trainings.)
- Ensure regular reporting on the monitoring of the function's performance indicators.
Profile/Competencies : Education, background, level of experience
- Proven work experience more than 15 years as an HRBP with an APAC experience
- Master's degree in Human Resource Management or related field, required
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Able to handle complex HR situations
- Effective communication skills: listening skills, ability to demonstrate, convince and lead in various situations
- Ability to manage projects involving several stakeholders
- Fluent in English - Chinese speaker would be a plus
- Ready to travel internationally.
