Responsibilities
Resourcing :
- Oversight and management of the Resourcing function
- Advise on approach for recruitment of key roles and recruitment tools
- Support the recruitment process by providing assistance with interviewing and development of job descriptions for key people
- Ensure the appropriate offer/ amendment letters are prepared/ sent and finalise details of salary, benefits, with reference to company policy and guidelines
Compensation and Benefits :
- Advise the Management on a remuneration strategy to drive growth and profit
- Assist with improving arrangements (bonus scheme) through the local implementation of a global framework whilst being consistent with company policy
- Manage the annual compensation review (salary and bonus) in line with the global guidelines
Budget :
- Oversight and management of all HR financial management and reporting
- Ensures local statutory accounts and consolidated accounts accurately record staff costs
- Control staff costs in line with the validated budget
- Manage financial reporting to local management control and to Group
- Ensure accurate salary and benefit information is maintained and review regularly
Talent Management, Employee Relations and Engagement :
- Direct an effective Talent Management programme to ensure the recruitment, development and retention of the best talent in the market
- Manage employee relations and engagement across the business
- Ensure accurate employees records are kept and that all practices comply with employment legislation
- Provide senior support on disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability or conflict resolution
- Provide support on any restructuring, integration, mergers, redundancy activity in the business
- Assist in implementing and providing guidance to local HR policies
- Where appropriate, provide advice and/or support to line managers/ employees
- Work with the Group HR Team to produce management reports on a regular basis
Performance Management :
- Direct performance management programme across the business to drive a high performance culture
- Inspire, coach and instil an ethos of business development
- Coach strategic new joiners
- Coach managers how to handle/ manage review/ feedback meetings and delivery of difficult messages, managing expectations and how to manage poor performance
Learning and Development :
- Direct an effective L&D programme (as part of the talent management programme) focused on top talent and rising stars
- Advise line managers on appropriate on training and development opportunities for employees
- Review and negotiate the best contracts for learning and development programme
