Position:
Director-HR (Leading MNC IT Company)
Role:
- Will serve as the HR Head for the Company at Chennai
- Participate in manpower planning & budgeting exercise for the Company at Chennai with a focus on productivity and optimum utilization of manpower
- Strive to become a trusted HR business partner of business/function lines
- Identify issues and process gaps to improve alignment, manpower productivity and minimize redundancies
- Talent review, identification, competency assessment, closure on feedback and creation of individual development plans
- Support in building the talent pipeline for critical positions by developing robust career & succession planning mechanisms
- Hire right talent within lead time
- Participate in the performance management process with regard to goal setting, performance discussions, yearly reviews, and consequence management
- Coach, counsel, and enable managers at various stages
- Lead and manage C&B process as per business requirement and aligning with the corporate C&B guidelines
- Benchmarking business compensation and payout structure
- Lead the annual increment, promotions and manpower budget exercise for the location
- Engaging with the leadership team and managing stakeholder expectations
- Support the leadership team in driving the desired culture and ensuring that the values of the organization are upheld at all times
- Lead a team
Requirements:
- MBA (HR)
- 17+ yrs of experience in HR
- Strong understanding and experience across the HR functions including organization development, resourcing, capability development, compensation & benefits, performance management and talent management practices
- Should have worked in a highly process oriented professional company, preferably in the IT/ ITES Industries
- Should have led the HR function for a location/ BUs, etc
