JOB DESCRIPTION

- Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organization

- Experience in managing scale, design & implement large scale projects, change management & people management

- Supporting the conceptualization & design of HR strategic initiatives specific to the Business unit she/he is supporting and help to drive the same

- Support the business for all Human Capital needs including Talent Management, Organization Effectiveness, design and effectiveness

- Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur

- Conceptualize, Design, Develop, and Implement people strategies thatenable the business to meet its short term goals and prepare a strongfoundation for sustainable growth in the future

- Build people competencies aligned to business priorities throughinternal and external resources

- Facilitate Employee Development activities like Mentoring, Coaching, Training, Induction

- Design and Implement a Reward and Recognition framework andpolicies that ensure that rewards and recognition are aligned to RightWays & Right Results

- Manage a fair transparent performance review process to enable eachindividual meet their performance goals

- Benchmark Retention Strategies and implement processes and policiesto encourage retention

- Create a work environment where each individual feels valued and is engaged

- Ensure alignment of compensation with the market

- Act as an employee champion by ensuring the following:

- Implementation of all engagement activities

- Manage employee grievances & employee queries appropriately

- Maintain a succession plan for all Business units

- Involvement in all redundancy consultations.

Desired Candidate Profile

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

- 15+ years of experience

- Master's degree in HR or related field

- Effective team player with good interpersonal skills, communication skills, influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills

- Knowledge of diverse personnel culture, values, and multi-regional HR policies will be helpful

- Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational, country, or regional lines

- Expertise in HR across compensation & benefits, performance management system, employee relations, HR policy & frameworks and compliance with HR laws. Basically creating an institution that is able to attract and retain great talent

- Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented

- Demonstrate an understanding of personalities and behavioral styles in order to work collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decision around resourcing, reporting structures and relationships

- Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common sense approach.
