Director HR Operations Location Gurgaon - Act as a liaison between employer and employee, overseeing employee relations. This involves receiving and effectively handling employee complaints, escalating these complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal action when necessary. Monitor grievance procedures, and ensure completion of appropriate documentation to maintain consistency, fairness and process integrity - Responds to employee policy or misconduct violations and performance improvement needs for complex cases. Assists managers with guidance on process, coaching skills and appropriate documentation. - Manages timely, thorough investigations and responses to employee concerns and complaints including ethics hotline calls, government body charges and other legal employment claims - Analyzes employee relations trends, identifies root causes and suggests resolutions - May participates in the development and facilitation of Employee Relations and Performance Improvement training and education to managers - Responsible for creating, monitoring and maintaining the local employee policies, in line with global policies and including any required country amendments to meet specific demands of the local business regulatory environment (e.g. in relation to local performance management practices). Ensure communication of the policies to managers and to employees - Maintains and manage employee benefits programs; including reporting, new hire benefits, leave administration, substance testing and ergonomics. - Partner with Compensation and Benefits in recommending benefit programs - Partners with Talent Acquisition to ensure that hiring requirements are met and recruitment strategies are implemented properly - Primary HR resource for all internal and external audits related to HR and Compliance processes and deliverables for the audit - May support managers in authoring job descriptions - Coach individual managers in the use of key Global HR processes - May support line managers to onboard new employees - providing key information about the local business unit and practicalities of the workplace. Introduce new employees to the employee handbook and start their interaction with the HR Services for completion of enrollment activities for benefits, bank accounts for payroll etc. - Support Company re-organization requirements by establishing the consultation / communication framework and ensuring managers have a step-by-step process for progressing through the changes.
