About our Client - Our client is one of the leading Financial Institutions Globally. Due to expansion in their global business, an excellent opportunity has come up as Director - Head of Risk and Governance for their Investment Banking & Finance Centre of Excellence based in Delhi/NCR and Chennai. They are looking for seasoned professional with around 18 to 20 years of experience to join their team as a Director managing the overall control environment of the sites.

Job Description - You would be responsible for managing and strengthening Control Environment in the Finance COE. You would also be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing the overall control environment, RCSA testing and incident management to manage operational losses and compliance to SOX regulations ensuring that the team meets its obligations in managing the framework aligned to all 3 lines of defense.

- This function will be established in response to the critical business need for end to end knowledge and understanding of accounting processes for all business activity and for all major projects incorporated within the Finance COE.

- You would also be responsible for managing the relationship with Finance COE's Compliance, Group Internal Audit and external audit teams, and is expected to represent India at Finance wide risk and control forums.

The Successful Candidate - You must be a MBA/CA/CPA with atleast 15 years of post-qualifying experience.

- Thorough understanding of key operational risk controls required in an Investment Bank.

- Knowledge of financial systems and complex finance processes like regulatory reporting, product control, balance sheet reporting etc. is a must.

- Prior experience of managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including auditors and regulators is essential.

- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, supporting long term career development.
