Director - Global Supply Management Finance

Role

- The Director, Global Supply Management (GSM) has primary responsibility for driving planning, decision support and for supporting strategic analysis for GSM as well as financial due diligence for the organization.

- The role will be a key component for all business analytics in execution of the GSM operating process. The role interfaces extensively with the SVP of GSM, the GSM LOB VP leaders, BU/LFO leaders supported by GSM and the HQ Finance teams with a focus on evaluating key business drivers, financial trends and risks/opportunities.

- The Director is also responsible for Spend reporting and Analytics – managing the reporting and analysis of procurement spend in the 4 major procurement categories – Marketing, Operations, Technology and Other Goods & Services. The responsibility includes ownership of firm reporting and diligences on many sub-categories of spend including Consulting, Contractor and Temp Labor reporting.

- The Director will also support Deal Analysis – leading the sourcing, negotiation, cost benefit analysis and financial planning for any new supplier, third party outsourcing deal in which there was Procurement involvement.

Background:

- People with analytical bend of mind and strong in Relationship Management and Leadership skills (not necessarily from accounting background).

- Overall 10+ years of experience including 6+ years in managing people and proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop others.

- Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to consult & diagnose issues and implement plans to drive solutions - Proven ability to work well with business partners and deliver creative solutions to business problems.

- Flexibility to successfully manage in a dynamic and changing business - Proven ability to supply thought leadership to business partners and creative solutions to business problems. Must be able to influence multiple stakeholders across different functional areas/geographies.
