Director - Global Product Data Management - Marketing Services Firm

Our client is a leading marketing services company, providing client's expertise in the full spectrum of communication needs for global brands.

The global product team for Reporting and Data Management defines and drives adoption of scalable, affordable approaches to client reporting. Business role is to create systematic approaches that help Decision Sciences teams and account teams to drive client satisfaction and retention, to create efficiency in terms of cost or time savings (in Decision Sciences or investment teams), and will generate moderate incremental revenue to help fund the preceding goals.

Core Responsibilities :

- Across all clients, our longer-term plan is to build on this work and focus on enabling good, scalable spend, competitive, and digital reporting.

- Conduct and synthesize discovery of client and internal user needs to guide platform development, workflow, and rollout plans

- Develop data roadmap and vision, align with functions, and maintain/evolve the roadmap over time

- Prioritize data automation based on user needs and cost savings or revenue potential

- Define data source in - essentials- and premium tiers, with pricing, sales materials and documentation

- Deliver data management and ETL processes that allow us to meet client needs with increasing speed, quality, efficiency over time

- Collaborate with MB Technology, Project Management Team, and our reporting operations center to drive quality, speed, and adoption of our systems and products

- Work with Project Management and MB Technology to manage relationships with key partners, from exploration to operations

- Align on best path for supplying clean spend and performance data to reporting processes, support integration of internal tool or other ETL and data management features into our systems and processes

- Ensure that our systems and processes provide visibility on data usage and costs to finance teams and business users

- Support various data projects for all internal business driven initiatives

Skills/Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years industry experience, including 3 plus years of management experience

- Experience with product development process, financial management tools, data management, project scheduling and resource management, coordinating team activities

- Strong Data Systems (EDC/RDBMS) experience

- Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English

- Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills

- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

- Occasional travel

- Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision
