Director - Global Financial Operations

The Director, Global Financial Operations Finance (GFO Finance) has primary responsibility for driving planning, decision support and for supporting strategic analysis for GFO as well as financial due diligence for the organization. The role will be a key component for all business analytics in execution of the GFO operating process. The role interfaces extensively with the SVP of GFO, the GFO LOB VP leaders and the HQ Finance teams with a focus on evaluating key business drivers, financial trends and risks/opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

- Provide monthly reporting and variance analysis for Business Partners and manage the monthly close and reporting for GFO

- Manage the GFO forecast process in line with corporate and finance timeline.

- Manage the GFO Investment Optimization Process and SQP including Cost Benefit Analysis, tracking and reporting

- Manage the Legal and SMR charge out process which includes cost center and fixed asset management

- Track re-engineering saves against targets and recommend actions required to meet targets/plans - Drive a strong control and governance structure around the saves validation process and GFO scorecards

- Support key business/finance partners on strategic initiatives - Provide leadership to the 11 member GFO Finance team in India.

Background:

- People with analytical bend of mind and strong in Relationship Management and Leadership skills (not necessarily from accounting background).

- Overall 10+ years of experience including 6+ years in managing people and proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop others. Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to consult & diagnose issues and implement plans to drive solutions

- Excellent communication & presentation skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization; Detail oriented, adaptable and highly motivated

- Proven ability to supply thought leadership to business partners and creative solutions to business problems.

- Must be able to influence multiple stakeholders across different functional areas/geographies.
