Director - Financial Reporting /Accounting/Control - BFSI - CA/CPA

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing financial reporting for the group and subsidiaries across the globe within the established financial control framework and responsibility for lodgement of audited financial statements

- Effective risk management of legal entities

- Effective decision making for financial reporting related items and effective in resolutions

- Well verse in accounting technical memos

- Act as Legal Entity Controller for certain super high risk and high-risk entities.

- Represent Finance in critical Board Meetings

- Decision making for key responsibilities in the service line which include regulatory requirements, dividend assessments, impairment considerations, licensing requirements, impact assessment of new product approvals.

- Representing the shared service center in various global forums within the company

- Planning, training of staff and day-to-day management/oversight of the LEC team including review, quality of service, and optimal resource utilization.

To be successful in the role:

- Professional accountancy qualification CA / CPA

- Experience with Legal Entity Control / Group Financial Reporting / Financial Control.

- Experience in a Banking / IB/FS industry/ Big 4 environment will be preferred.

- Experience of working in an international environment
