Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Director of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The Director of FP&A will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making and ensuring the financial health and stability of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and economic developments that may impact the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis in a complex business environment.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, principles, and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel and other financial software/tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
