Company Profile

A technology venture capital fund, with investments across consumer and B2B for the Indian market. The funds leadership comprises of 3 partners and a VP who leads investment and are experienced investors since 2008. They have offices in Mumbai, NCR and Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance:

- SEBI AIF Regulation

- Accounting Standards (Indian / IFRS / US GAAP)

- Income Tax Act & TDS

- Indirect Taxes (GST)

- The Companies Act / The Limited Liability Partnership Act

Internal (Fund & AMC):

- Leading the accounting and finance function

- Supporting senior stakeholders on all business reviews

- Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process

- Manage Cash flow & Treasury operation.

- Liaising with Auditors & Valuer.

- Liaising with bankers, government departments, consultants and vendors.

- Implement new processes, internal controls and policies to improve efficiency & rationalize costs.

External (Portfolio Entities / Investors):

- Review IC minutes and co-ordinate documentation process with Trustee.

- Leading due-diligence (legal & financial).

- Structuring of Deals.

- Review & Document definitive agreements.

- Supporting Investors relations with investor documentation and concerns

Essential Qualification

- Chartered accountant with 15+ years of experience

Required Skills

- 5+ years SEBI AIF Compliance

- Structuring domestic and international structures

- Overseeing Accounting, Taxation and Audit

- Overseeing investments and divestments from portfolio entities knowledge of SHA, SPA

- Someone who is a problem solver and solution oriented

- Strong stakeholder management skills
