Director - Finance - Manufacturing Firm

The key accountabilities of this position are:

Management Reporting & Analysis

- Lead business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management reporting.

- in the India, including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.

- Hands on involvement providing information to and working with Leadership Team to achieve monthly and annual financial results.

- Lead working capital reduction projects including accounts receivable and inventory.

- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts including a narrative on results.

- Managing administration functions - employee welfare/policies, insurance, facility maintenance etc.,

- Ensuring comprehensive coverage of insurance to company properties.

Budgeting and Planning

- Lead the annual planning process and preparation of the annual plan in coordination with the company's global planning process and assist in the development of budgeting, planning and other financial documents and reports,

Management of finance team undertaking the following activities: -

- Financial accounting and reporting

- Accounts payable

- Accounts receivable

- Payroll & Administration

- Management/Cost Accounting

- Banking and cash management

Financial staff management as above including performance management, recruitment and selection.

Controller responsibilities

- Internal and external audit support

- Company secretary

- Manage the annual audit and preparation of Legal entity financial statements for UK and European entities

- Business continuity and emergency planning

- Ensure activities integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legislative requirements, environmental policies and general duty of care

Requirements

- Qualified Accountant ACA or CMA with CS is preferred

- Significant managerial experience

- Experience of working in an environment of strict cash management

- Experience of working in manufacturing environments

- Experience of multi site operations

- Excellent cash management skills including detailed forecasting

- Experience of consolidation work and complex inter-group accounting transactions

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills

- Experience of using an integrated ERP system

- Experience of managing change beneficial.
