Description:

- Controllership Strategy: Develop, implement, and oversee the financial controllership strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation, analysis, and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Audit and Compliance: Manage relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring successful audits and adherence to financial compliance standards.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a high-performing team of financial controllers and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Process Optimization: Streamline financial controllership processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

- Financial Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement measures to protect the organization from financial exposures.

- Governance and Policy: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize controllership services and maintain strong relationships.

- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track controllership effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Profile:

- 15+ years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, with a focus on controllership, ideally within the financial services industry.

- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry standards.

- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, audit, and compliance.

- Exceptional leadership, team management, and mentorship skills.

- Proficiency with financial software and systems.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A strong commitment to ethics, integrity, and compliance
