We are looking for corporate finance director with our IT Product client for Pune. Please note we are looking for people only from IT companies.

Job Role & Responsibilities :

Title : Director Finance

Stakeholders : CEO Corporate Finance functions (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Purchasing, Controllership), Legal, Admin and Facilities.

Location : Pune, India

Mission :

1. Supports the CEO in decision making through financial expertise.

2. Drives business operations.

People :

1. Manage (recruit, train, motivate) the Finance organization (and assist other finance resources)

2. Supervise BA processing Services team

3. Animate the Finance community

Planning :

1. Contribute to the formulation of future direction and support tactical initiatives

2. Lead and Monitor the implementation of strategic 3-year business plans, referential & - GROWTH- processes liaising with the Corporate planning team for :

i. Revenue (intercompany and 3rd party)

ii. Propose/review resources allocation in line with strategy

iii. Manage financial scenario planning, as well as the impact of management's decisions on the financial results

3. Manage all planning exercises, including the yearly Sales plan process, the budgeting processes (including Revenue), and the forecast processes: propose/review assumptions, and propose trade-offs between organizations

4. Prepare and participate in Budget/Forecast reviews with CEO and Corporate FP&A

5. Contribute to the development and implementation of performance measures supporting strategic direction

6. Develop ad hoc business cases and business plans for -specific needs

Operations :

1. Participate in key decisions as a member of executive management team

2. Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on operations internal interactions within the ecosystem

3. Review the execution of specific business plans

4. Review resource allocations on an ongoing basis (in line with strategic plan, with budget, with other immediate needs)

5. Implement operational best practices

6. Contribute to the financial review of any (material) investment or divestment

7. Oversee all purchasing (with Corporate Purchasing) and payroll (with HR) activity

8. Critical evaluation, justification and overseeing the facility expansion plans

9. Contribute to the implementation of integration plans for acquisitions

Financial & performance reporting information :

1. Responsible for the issuance and validate all financial information on the appropriate cadence, and responsible for Finance data accuracy

2. Ensure proper management of Accounting team,

3. Report financial results to the executive team, Corporate Finance, and to global functions

4. Respond to ad hoc requests for management and other needs, both internal & external, such as all-hands meetings, boards, external events/meetings, newsletters, etc.

5. Develop and promote awareness of the Finance organization (such as but not limited to - ability to explain complex financial principles in straightforward terms- ) and understanding of operating performance and financial scenario planning

Risk Management & Tax :

1. Contribute in defining and / or implement all necessary processes and procedures related to the protection of the company assets & compliance with regulations and norms (GAAP, IFRS, SOX and tax norms)

2. Ensure a high level of compliance and risk management, including the identification and control of all risks for the business

3. Pursue lobbying and networking on identified Finance topics

4. Ensure that finance operations are optimized, coordinating with the Financial Shared Services

5. Sponsor / enforce all necessary policies, processes & procedures related to the overall finance operational performance

6. Ensure proper deployment of internal control policies, compliance policies and framework

7. Ensure that the complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

8. Monitor and communicate best practices

9. Understand and mitigate key elements of the risk profile

10. Implement internal/external audit remediation plans

11. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of government agencies and auditors

12. Report fraud and risk issues to the corporate audit team and to the management team

13. Maintain relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

14. Ensure that Corporate tax policies (esp. Transfer pricing) and local regulations (payroll, VAT,- ) are appropriately carried out

15. Monitor local tax audits with guidance from the Corporate tax team

Funding & Treasury :

1. Liaise with Corporate Treasury to monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

2. Prepare for debt and equity financing, especially for acquisitions and investment needs, with Corporate Treasury

3. Work with Corporate Treasury and implement the hedging policy

Background & skills :

- Degree with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India or any equivalent professional degree

- Working experience of 10-18 years with IT Industry preferably a software product or services company

- Familiarity with STPI and SEZ rules & regulations is an added advantage

- Should have managed a team of at least 10 or more for more than 10 years
