A Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of work experience. Effective controller with strong communication and analytical skills. Hands on role where existing processes and systems will be evaluated for efficiencies and improved financial oversight.To work closely with and in support of the India leadership team and ensure compliance to various company law & accounting standards and maintaining strict control of overall activities.  1. Qualified CA  2. NetSuite or similar ERP systems  3. Excellent English language skills   4. MBA/MCom with experience in IT services industry (preferable)  Controllership  - Preparation of monthly financial statements consistent with U.S. Corporate needs and local statutory requirements  - Management of accounting operations (payroll, A/P, tax, audit, treasury) and activities of current staff of 2 expected to grow over time.  - Work closely with the India Country Manager in support of all financial support needs (reporting, investment analysis, controls)  - Ensure monthly balance sheet account reconciliations are completed timely and available to the U.S. finance team  - Maximize local NetSuite structure for reporting and data import/export  - Timely and smooth completion of internal, statutory and tax audits and attending all auditors  - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting  - Develop and document business processes and accounting practices in conjunction with U.S. operations to maintain and strengthen internal controls  - Tax audit details preparation  - Debtors' management and credit control  - Proactively liaison with various regulatory authorities, banks &external agencies  - Accounting Standards and their implementation  - Insurance Portfolio Management  Corporate Planning & Financial Analysis  - Proficient in formulating budgets and analysing variances between projected & actual costs and implementing corrective actions to rectify the same  - Review performance and report on key metrics and issues to management  - Team member in corporate planning during organizational structuring  - Involvement in financial projections of potential M&A   - Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management  Treasury & Cash Management  - Accurately forecast cash flow positions and communicate funding needs to U.S. finance team. Effectively communicate any deviances from plan/fcst  - Partner with CFO to leverage hedging to mitigate financial risks associated with FX exposure  - Maintain local banking relationships and assist in expansion of relationships as warranted  - Placement of commercial papers and Guarantees  Taxation & Compliance  - Preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure monthly and quarterly statutory compliances  - Oversee filing of returns and attending tax authorities for assessments and appeals  - Proactively liaison with various Regulatory Authorities, Banks & External Agencies  - Ensuring compliance to various company law & accounting standards and maintaining strict control overall activities  - Knowledgeable in direct/indirect taxes  Working conditions:  - Primarily in the India Head office  - Expected to travel as needed to other offices
