Director - Family Business Institute

Hiring for an established Family Business Institute serves as an Education and Research platform to enable family businesses sustain, grow and perpetuate through generations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to build the Institute as a Centre of Excellence for FamilyBusiness.

This will involve, partnering with our international knowledge partners to upgrade course content and pedagogy to deliver quality programs. Deliver and build state-of-art research and case writing capability within the Institute.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. P&L management/ Managing a state of art or a center of excellence; policy framework,management plan.

2. Strength in supervising MDPs/ trainings conducted; client interface for entrepreneurial lectures

3. Learning delivery provided to external clients.

4. Their academic strength in OD interventions, entrepreneurship management, HR & OB practices.

5. Experience in preparing course content / customized course content/ learning outcome etc. keeping in mind the current industry requirements.

6. Experience in introducing new courses

7. National & International exposure in conferences & workshops.

8. Global network for accessing funds and skills for innovative projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

A. Educational Requirements:

- A track record of academic excellence and a doctorate degree in Management & Research or Strategy or Applied Behavioural Sciences.

B. Experience Requirements:

- 15-20 years experience in the field of Management Education and /or study of Family Business and Entrepreneurship.

- The Individual must be able to demonstrate strong leadership to bring out the best from a team of competent specialists.

- Social and business development skills will improve effectiveness of the role.
