Job Title: Director, Enterprise and Internal Communications, India Department: Corporate Communications

Location: Mumbai

POSITION OVERVIEW:

- The Corporate Communications team which leads all communication and corporate marketing activities is seeking a Director to lead internal, enterprise and brand communications for the India region.

- In this role, the Director will lead the India office's communications strategy with a focus on enterprise-wide initiatives, including executive and employee communications, Sustainability, Citizenship, organisation's affinity groups and Expanding Opportunity efforts and internal, employee communications. They will be the primary developer - in partnership with key stakeholders - of written messaging, presentations and other materials including employee communications, digital content for LinkedIn and other channels, and other correspondence. In addition, he or she will be responsible for coordinating with the broader team to ensure messages are incorporated in broader business materials and ladder up to our purpose and core values.

- The Director will collaborate with the team on materials production and execution, as well as project management, including obtaining requisite approvals, managing deadlines, and keeping relevant colleagues informed throughout the process.

- The ideal candidate is a self- starter with strong writing and presentation skills, excellent project management skills and exceptional judgement. They possess a combination of strong communication and organization skills, helping the team to successfully manage firm communications efforts in a manner that is proactive, strategic, holistic, serving employees and external stakeholders, as needed. They also have unquestionable integrity, is passionate about our work, has the presence to work with senior leaders and work collaboratively with teams across the firm to best position the company and its diverse global business segments to relevant stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and compelling voice.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define and align the regional communications strategy with company's global communications strategy and business objectives

- Focus his or her efforts on enterprise-wide, regional brand, employee engagement and internal initiatives

- Work directly with the leadership teams to ensure firm's vision and progress in India is communicated effectively through all employee communications, townhall and other internal events

- Serve as a strategic communications leader coordinating with internal clients, primarily senior leaders from human capital, corporate citizenship, sustainability and DE&I

- Advisory and standardization for any Internal communications, ensure proactive and timely internal and external communication (as relevant) for all pan India initiatives

- Coordinate across India offices to ensure consistency in communications and strategy

- Proactively support recruiting campaigns and firmwide programs (e.g., citizenship, purpose and people topics) with original content customized for the region

- Compose/edit employee communications, digital content, presentations, and written correspondence

- Support the rollout of communications strategies to deliver content to targets through a multichannel approach, eaffectively utilizing digital tools to prepare and distribute internal and external communications to targeted audiences

- Work with senior leaders in India on their social media strategy with an initial focus on LinkedIn collaborating with Global communications and compliance

- Support launching high visibility external programs to support the brand and business positioning and liaise with external agencies (e.g NASSCOM)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Experience):

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Communication

- Strong editorial background and proofreading skills, adhering to established best practices and technical style guides. Effective networking skills and ability to cultivate collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams, as well as senior-level management

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Problem solving skills

- Ability to organize processes and people

- Exercise judgement in handling confidential/sensitive information; trustworthy and high level of discretion required

- Analytical and quantitative orientation, including strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including powerpoint

- Capable of engaging a diverse set of stakeholders and gaining their trust

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- High trust and integrity - naturally engender trust; can be counted on to do the right thing

- Effective interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills

- Highest attention to detail; a self-starter
