Director - Engineering Sales (IT based)
- Role is an IC role & he has to do right from lead generation to Sales himself.
- He should be managing turnover of 2 Mn US$.
- Candidates from Product Engineering Services/ IT Services/ Networking domain, Automotive, Consumer Electronics.
Role Description : Sales
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on technology experience in developing scalable applications and platforms. The person should be a self-motivated person with a passion for problem solving and continuous learning.
Role and responsibilities :
- Selling Product Engineering Services and IT Services to leading enterprises and X-Tech, Unicorns / Startups (Dev Tech, Customer Experience, Automotive industry, medical industry) across globe.
- Work with Sales development teams to aggressively hunt new logos.
- Hunting/ Account Mgt for APAC/ USA with team target 2 Mn US$.
- new corporate logos of various verticals like IT /ITES, manufacturing, automotive, GIC/ captives.
- End to End Management of Proposal, opportunity, account penetration plan, lead generation, targeted prospecting and forecasting.
Technical skills requirements :
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in:
- Responsible in selling software & services solutions in the Product Software Engineering Services Space (Analytics, Web applications, IOT, Engineering R&D, cables, connectors, Mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering services).
- Prior experience in selling to both Software Product companies (platforms) and Engineering R & D (Storage, Networking, Automotive and Consumer Electronics)
- Managed Business with a track record of success in selling Engineering solutions, preferably in the Industrial, Automotive, Telecom, Airport Business, Aerospace , Smart Building sectors.
- Disciplined sales process from start to - nish pursuing >$10M opportunities with a strategic relationships and have a vision for developing a committed customer
- Identify Opportunities, Manage and Plan Accounts, Negotiate and Close.
- Excellent track record in new client hunt, acquiring new logos.
Nice-to-have skills :
- Advance Design Patterns (Gang of 4)
- Distributed Transactions
- Performance Improvements and JVM Dumps understanding
- Unix or Shell scripting
Qualifications :
- 12 to 15 years of work experience in Engineering Sales
- MBA in Industrial relations or any other specialization
