Engineering Director :

- Directs the software engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications/operating systems according to business needs.

- Must have - B Tech degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field.

- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.

- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Role & Responsibility :

- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

- Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to stakeholders

- Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.

- Recruit his team, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of assets or services.

- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

- Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service .

- Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.

- Set technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.
