Director - Engineering - LogiTech

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership & Strategy:

i) Shape the vision, architecture, and overall strategy for our digital logitech platform in alignment with our business goals

ii) Ensure a robust, scalable, and secure technology stack that serves the needs of our clients and partners seamlessly

2. Platform Development & Integration:

i) Oversee end-to-end development, deployment, and scaling of our logistics platform

ii) Lead integration efforts with supply chain management software (SCMS) and CRM providers

3. Process Automation:

i) Identify areas of potential optimization and automation across business processes

ii) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions, reducing manual effort and elevating efficiency

4. Team Management & Growth:

i) Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and tools needed to succeed

ii) Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaborative problem solving within the team

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

i) Work closely with business, product, and tech stakeholders to understand their needs, aligning technological development with business goals

ii) Maintain transparent communication channels with senior management, providing regular updates on technology initiatives, challenges, and roadmaps

6. Vendor Management:

i) Evaluate and establish partnerships with external technology vendors, ensuring they align with our company's tech and security standards

ii) Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors while ensuring cost-efficiency and timely delivery

7. Budgeting & Cost Management:

i) Oversee the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking ROI on technology investments
