Designation: Director Engineering

Role Description :

- We are looking for an Leader in Engineering with experience in Java Server side to lead the Engineering team and completely own the development of the software products and systems in Zypp Electric

Qualifications :

- 9+ years, 2-3+ years as Technical architect (Java)

- Bachelor in Engineering from a premier university/college

Must Have Skills:

- Should have worked as J2EE Architect at least for 3+ projects Should have an ability to design J2EE technical solutions.

- Should be very strong in OOAD, ORM, Design Patterns and MVC

- Worked on Spring Boot and Front End advanced JS framework like ReactJS or Angular etc

- Have a deep technical expertise and experience in Java, Web Development, RDBMS, Postgres, Oracle,mysql NoSQL, and Automation Testing, containers

- Hands on programmer in Java server side

- Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.

- Experience in creating software architecture and design documents

- Experience working with AWS, GCP or any cloud provider services

- Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight forward solutions.

- Has worked on some of the architecture styles: Monolithic, Microservices, Serverless, Event.

- Knowledge of Web Technologies such as Html 5, CSS 3, jQuery, Spring MVC and WebServices (SOAP/REST).

- Knowledge of technology areas of Messaging, Transaction Management, Spring MVC, Hibernate, DAO, etc.

- Experience in technically leading the team of software engineers

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good To Have Skills:

- Experience in implementing Webservices Security using Spring Security, WS-Security, SAML etc

- Strong knowledge on design and integration patterns specially in applications involving Portals/SSO, legacy applications, B2B Applications, external partners using ESB.

Responsibilities :

- Understand the requirements, current state architecture of the enterprise and create a roadmap for the future enhancements accordingly.

- Create Software Architecture Document, High Level and Low-Level Design document, Non-functional requirements for the project.

- Define Integration Design and Security Design for the APIs, Web Services and other enterprise components involved.

- Participate in production of detailed functional design documents to match customer requirements.

- Participate in production of technical specifications for development and integration requirements.

- Collect and Provide estimates for the requirements.

- Mentor and train team members on the Solution details for a smoother execution.

- Ensure quality deliverables.
