We are angel-funded, currently in stealth mode, and based out of Domlur, Bangalore. Responsibilities: - Build and lead a team of technology professionals - Define technology strategy end-to-end - Define product pipeline and execution based on product vision set by leadership - Work with the team to break modules down to individual tasks that engineers can execute - Provide architecture and design support to the team to solve complex programming problems in an efficient/ performant manner - Ensure that other developers understand the impact of their work on business and end-users - Be accountable for timelines and raise any red flags early in the development process to avoid last-minute delays Experience: - BTech/ BE/ MS in Computer Science from a top tier institute, or relevant programming background - 5+ yrs of experience covering every stage of the software development lifecycle: design, architecture, maintenance, deployment, code reviews, documentation, etc - Must: Previous startup experience - Significant understanding of the fin-tech space - Experience managing a team of at least 10 developers within the last 3 yrs - Bonus: Exposure to data science/data platforms - Bonus: Experience with digital lending companies - Bonus: Significant love for F&B Skills: - Full Stack Web proficiency - Prior exposure to all aspects - backend, web frontend, mobile apps, dev-ops, testing, cloud, etc. - Excellent communication skills - Desire to mentor other developers - Ability to work with cross-functional specialists (designers, project managers, product managers, and data scientists) - Risk-taking and effective decision-making balance - Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules - First-principles led problem-solving attitude What's on offer: - A fast-paced, exciting workplace with a cool vision - Product ownership - Team ownership - Being a top 10 team member in a high growth startup, with room to scale exponentially as we grow - High exposure to customers and to the business scale-up - Equity stock options
