Director End User Devices Product
Location - Pune or Bangalore
Job Description Summary :
- Devices products are used by over 120,000 staff and external workers across over 50 countries around the world
- Managing a team of product managers covering the End User Computing Devices product family, covering mobile, tablet, desktop and virtual desktop devices, device management and remote access, automation and application management products
- Product management within Bank is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, financial ownership, risks, requirements gathering, book of work definition and prioritization, vendor management, and central IT application ownership of a product
The Devices PPM will be responsible for:
- Managing the 7 product managers in their delivery of product management practices
- Collaborating with EUC and CTO architecture teams on devices wide strategy and roadmap
- Oversight of the financial spend of all owned and consumed costs relating to the devices products
- Monitor team performance, adherence to all control and process requirements for managing IT products through their lifecycle
- Stay up to date on product enhancements, competing products, and the industry as a whole
- Collaborate with the wider EUC product management team who will be delivering their services on the devices products
Role Requirements :
- Strong understanding of End User Computing technologies including
o Mobile phones and tablets, Mobile device management and application management
o Physical Windows desktop, laptop and workstation hardware and Mac
o Virtual desktop VDI and non-persistent sessions
o Secure role-based access control to application and infrastructure
o Config Manager, Intune, JAMF systrak
o Zscaler, Pulse secure remote access solutions
o Automation tools such as Dashworks and Microsoft SCORCH
- Understanding of other End User technologies, such as Workplace, Collaboration, Trading, process automation and SDLC tools
- Able to interface with other infrastructure technology functions such as networks, data centre, server and database teams
- Able to work closely on risks with control functions such as compliance, security, data protection, surveillance, and compliance archiving teams
- Conduct product reviews and solve complex technical issues /obstacles
- Understand platform set up, capacity planning, monitoring, and performance improvement
- Automate platform activities with SDLC and other supported tools with minimal manual effort
- Collect feedback from end user on the services and assign it to respective products/team for improvements/suggestions if any.
