Director - Direct Taxation - CA

To handle the corporate portfolio of Direct Taxation and provide inputs for strategic decision making in ongoing matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle Direct Tax Compliances (as a team with AGM) including but not limited to:

- Preparation and representations at assessments and other proceedings

- Liaison with our Direct Tax consultants

- Co-ordinate with team (consisting of AGM - Direct Tax and others) for regular functions

- Tracking and follow-up of timely compliances including Income Tax returns, TDS returns, etc.

- Assist Director-Tax in strategic decisions. Planning

- Handle tax litigation in co-ordination with Director and Tax counsels

- Working level knowledge of FEMA concerning tax aspects

- Study and make notes on UAE taxation of corporates recently introduced

- Preparation of proposals for tax incentives/ benefits/ concessions basis law provisions (jointly with AGM)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Successful representation experience

- Any 1 or 2 case studies of noteworthy ideas/achievements.
