It has achieved triple-digit growth YoY serving an enormous base of over 3 million active users, with 70% of its demand from tier 2 and smaller towns. It is backed by a range of institutional investors, including RPG Ventures, India Infoline Seed fund, Lion Rock Capital, Rise Capital. Noteworthy HNIs, Eduardo Saverin (Co-founder, Facebook), Toivo Annus (CTO and co-founder of Skype), and Nisa Godrej (MD GCPL) , among others.

Who would be suitable :

Candiadtes with extremely strong Digital Marketing experience , in D2C , having been instrumental in creating strong Digital Presence , through Branding & Performance Marketing,

Candidates having created Brands with Agencies would ablso fit the bill.

Must-Have:

- 8-12 years of experience post-MBA from Tier 1 B school

- Top of the line digital marketing leader with relevant performance marketing experience in scaling up digital companies (E-Commerce / D2C Startups).

- Excellent planning skills to manage digital campaigns both in-house and with the external digital agency.

- Ability to lead a team, motivate and drive them and work with diverse, matrixed stakeholders across analytics, creative, brand, and product teams to attain both scale and efficiency in acquisition.

- Experience and ability to manage scale (strong knowledge of organized players (Facebook/Google etc.) and Affiliate platforms as well as experience to build fresh Acquisition sources by challenging the status quo and envisaging a spectrum of possibilities beyond plain vanilla optimization.

- Analytical Skills: should be able to analyze the overall digital marketing performance and take ongoing calls /setup mechanisms to optimize, along with an experimenter mindset

- Technical Skills: hands-on experience with performance marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), - Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Social Media Optimization (SMO), - App Store Optimization (ASO),

- Google Analytics, Google AdWords, PPC, email/SMS/affiliate marketing, Display Advertising Campaigns, Maintaining social media presence,

Optional Plus:

- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and work on balancing multiple competing priorities

- A founder's mentality to take ownership and get things done, irrespective of the challenges.

- Ability to be the thought leader in digital and continuously learn/ upgrade one's digital skillsets to be on the cutting edge of emerging digital platforms and techniques.

- Have also led SEO optimizations working with the engineering team to drive organic traffic to mweb/web/app

About this role:

This Director Digital Marketing leads and owns the digital acquisition channels for across paid, earned, and owned media and leads a team to deliver both scales of acquisition and efficiency.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

1. Scale shopper acquisition across digital platforms (paid, owned) across APP and Mweb/web /IOS as well manage the cost of acquisition for new customers and cost of sales for repeat buyers.

2. Plan and run digital campaigns to drive acquisition, brand salience, and social media visibility for the brand both with in- house execution teams as well as external digital agencies.

3. Work with analytics teams to set up strong measurement capability and take decisions based on data.

4. Work with in-house brand and creative teams to optimize digital creatives, as well as ensure strong knowledge sharing mechanisms are set up for a digital-first mindset.
